Super Scientist Presentations

Last week the students in Room 12 conducted their "Super Scientist" presentations, where they were required to research a scientific concept or idea, and then deliver this to an audience. Apart from delivering an engaging presentation, students needed to demonstrate a good understanding of the Science concept/ideas.

There were a wide range of topics covered, as well as a mixture of experiments and Power Point presentations.

I am impressed with the enthusiasm and effort from the students. Well done to all the students and thank you to the parents/guardians who helped with the preparation.

Congratulations to Yasaman and Michael, who are the two finalists from Room 12. Their presentations were very engaging and informative. The next step will be for the finalists to deliver their presentation to the Year 5 cohort. The Year 5 group will then select a representative to deliver their presentation at a whole school assembly in Week 9.

All of the students are winners for participating. There was a lot of interesting information shared, and I'm sure that a lot was learned as part of the process. Well done everyone.
