Term 3 News
Term 3 is off to a flying start, with so much happening already. Special upcoming events this term include incursions, Book Week, athletics carnivals plus much more! Incursions Last week we attended an incursion by the Water Corporation, as part of NAIDOC week. At the incursion, students learned about ways that Aboriginal people could find water in the natural environment. Students also examined a range of Aboriginal art works and interpreted the meaning from the symbols used. Overall it was an informative and interesting session. Later this week students will also be attending an incursion on 'River Food Web' by the South East Regional Centre for Landfill. Students will be learning about the river and wetland ecosystems, with the purpose of extending awareness of sustainability.
